Being Comforted and Comforter

There is a sister in Southern China who is chronically ill and in pain. Yet, she wanted to be a
Rainbow volunteer. She is now outreaching and comforting to
hearing impaired students in Beijing whom we are empowering to be animation artists. She is using texting which is a main mode of communication for the deaf. Using texting, even though Minling is thousands of miles away, distance may not matter as much; because of love, the physical distance may not matter much any more. I am so touched by her and what she is doing in Christ despite her difficulties.
2 Corinthians
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
May we gain strength in our comfort in Jesus and be comforter for others in need. Amen!
